Introduction
Hello! We are Alex and Amanda. Thank you for wanting to get to know us! We know that you are going through a confusing and difficult time as you determine the best option for you and your precious baby. We pray that you feel supported and loved as you make this decision. We admire you so much for choosing life and for considering adoption. We are so excited to grow our family through adoption. We are ready to become parents and cannot wait to welcome a new addition into our family. Through us meeting, dating and getting married we have always talked about building a family founded on love. Both our families are so supportive and excited for us. We have so much love to give and are ready to provide for our future child.
About Us
We met in college and started dating soon after. Since then we have been the best of friends. After college Alex proposed and we got married on June 25, 2016. Amanda is 28 and is a first grade teacher. Alex is 27 and works as an accountant. We live in our home in New Jersey with our puppy Kateri. We both come from big families that are very loving and supportive. We are both very faith based and thank God for everything that we have. We attend church and enjoy a supportive community there. We both love kids and have always dreamed of having our own. Adopting was always part of our future plan. We are open to welcoming a child of any race and gender into our family. We are so blessed and cannot wait to share our blessings with our future child.
Our adventures are always fun experiences because we are together. We enjoy spending time outdoors and being active. We like to travel and find fun things to do like hiking, going to the beach, biking, celebrating at family events, walking, going to sports games, running in 5ks, traveling to places like Niagara Falls, camping and going to the park. We look forward to taking our little one on adventures with us and sharing these experiences. We have so much fun together whether it is going somewhere or relaxing at home. We look forward to sharing all of these loving experiences with our child.
Friends and Family
We both have big families that mesh very well and love each other. Everyone is supportive and excited for us to become parents. They have extended open arms and hearts for a little one to enter and become part of our family. Both of us have loving parents and grand parents that cannot wait to have a little one join the family. Alex has two sisters and Amanda has a brother and three sisters. All are excited to become uncle and aunts. We are excited to be godparents to our future godchild! We enjoy spending time with friends and family. We have many traditions and look forward to spending holidays together. We join Alex’s family yearly to visit the beach for a week in Florida. We also join Amanda’s family yearly on a family camping trip.
Our Home and Community
Our house is our home and we have enjoyed preparing it for our future baby. We have the nursery all ready and a library filled with stories to read to our baby. Our puppy Kateri (a friendly, happy black lab) loves children. We have a wonderful community in our neighborhood, church and at both our workplaces. We enjoy attending family events and cannot wait to bring our future child.
Our Message to You
Thank you for starting to get to know us. Above all we want you to know that we will take care of your child and love him or her unconditionally because they will be our child also. We are prepared and eager to provide a positive, loving, safe and nurturing environment for them to grow, learn and succeed. You will always be an important part of their life and we will raise our child with an understanding and appreciation for you and the sacrifice you are making out of unconditional love for him or her. We promise that we will always encourage him or her with their hopes and dreams, provide the best possible education and be their advocates and defenders through life. We will support him or her and will love them no matter what. We will continue to pray for you as you discern this important decision.
