Introduction
Hello we are Amy and Phil-Thank you for taking the time to learn about us. We understand that you have many potential parents to consider as you are going on this journey and that this is a thoughtful and serious decision for you to make. As a couple, we have always known that we want to be parents one day, and that adoption was a viable option for us.
About Us
We met just under 17 years ago through mutual friends and have been married now for 8 of those years. Amy enjoys being outdoors and staying active but never misses the opportunity to snuggle up on the couch with our cat Camo and a good book, Phil also enjoys being outdoors and working on projects around our home. As for our work, Phil is a petroleum inspector and Amy works in Health Care. It is important to us that we have dinner together each night. We both love to travel and make sure to include a trip once a year in our schedules. One of favorite places to visit is upstate where we can be found relaxing by the lake.
Family Life
Currently it is just the two of us and our cat Camo-who loves snuggles and kisses. Our everyday life involves us both going to work but we make sure to have dinner together every night and value our time at the table. We also like to incorporate a date night into our schedules or simply just a board game at the table. We understand that our lives will change with this opportunity but we are so ready for that change. Our family is built on love, trust and good communication and we want to share those values with our future child someday.
Our Friends and Family
Family is one of our core values and we are both very family oriented. In fact, most of our best childhood memories come from time spent with family. Amy’s family has a Greek and Irish background and Phil’s family is Italian so as you can imagine our wedding guest list was quite large. Our siblings include two brothers and one sister for Amy and two older sisters for Phil. We are currently the proud Aunt and Uncle of 3 amazing nieces and one awesome nephew. Our friends have also been in our lives for a very long time so we consider them to be more like family. We enjoy spending time with all of our loved ones and can’t wait for our day to add more children to the mix.
Our Home and Community
We live in a family-oriented neighborhood with many parks, beaches and amusements within driving distance. Our home is a 3-bedroom ranch and we have already turned one of those rooms into a nursery. We knew from the moment we moved here that this was the perfect place to raise a family. Our backyard is spacious and open leaving plenty of room for a swing set or pool. Our neighborhood is surrounded by genuine people who care for one another and always offering helping hands.
Our Message to You
We have always dreamed of being parents and having a child to raise in a loving home. We are very excited to be adopting and have so much love to share for this baby as we try to expand our family. Please always know that we will love and cherish your baby unconditionally and we will make sure that they know their story and is proud of where they came from and who they are. Regardless of who you choose we hope your journey to finding the perfect parents for your baby is a loving one.
