Introduction
We want to thank you for considering us as potential adoptive parents for your child. We understand that this process can be overwhelming, but we look forward to working with you on making this a positive experience.
We want to have a family, and with your help that dream will come true. We are in our 30’s and have plenty of time to devote to raising a child. We have no children and are hoping to become parents through adoption. We have many interests and hobbies that we feel will interest a child and engage them mentally and physically as they grow.
We are excited to meet you and are looking forward to getting to know you more throughout the adoption process.
About Us
We met at work. Chelsea was in the accounting department and Anthony was in dispatch. At the time, Anthony was active in the NAVY reserves. One day Anthony went into the office to get something he had forgotten on his desk. He was wearing his uniform and bumped into Chelsea in the hallway. After that, sparks flew!
We have been together for 11 years and of those we have been married for 4 years. Our marriage is strong because of our shared values: Respect, trust, hard work, openness, and having fun. We enjoy many of the same things and are very easy-going people. Much of what we enjoy doing involves outdoor activities that help to keep us physically active.
Meet Chelsea
Chelsea is amazingly easy going and understanding. I would not be the person I am today without her. I always say she is my inspiration. She is a person of many talents. She loves to cook and bake new recipes each week. She is the whole family’s go to for anything technology. Whenever someone needs help with something, she is the first to jump in and ask if they need anything. She has such a big heart with lots of love to give. She enjoys going out to eat, decorating our home for holidays, being a green thumb, being handy, and the list goes on.
One of our dogs, a chihuahua, has special needs. I see the motherly instinct in her when taking care of our chihuahua. She just knows what to do and when something is off. I am looking forward to the future of new memories and experiences with Chelsea nurturing our child.
Meet Anthony
My husband, Anthony is a fun and easy-going person. I refer to him as a “big kid”. He loves playing games both inside and outside. Anthony did not experience many things as I did as a child. For example, Anthony never went camping. So, one weekend we camped out in our back yard for the weekend. We enjoyed being under the stars. We slept in our tent, had s’mores on the fire, cooked breakfast, and coffee on a morning campfire. It was an experience he will never forget. I know Anthony is looking forward to sharing those first-time experiences with a child.
When I see Anthony play with children, the child in him just comes right out. It’s as if he stepped back in time and is ready to jump back into those not- a- care in the world years. I know he’ll be a terrific father to our child.
Things we love and our 9-to-5!
We own a family business. Anthony runs the operations and Chelsea handles the administrative/accounting portions of the business. Owning our own business makes our schedules extremely flexible. Chelsea can work remotely when we adopt so that she can be with our baby.
Another interesting thing we like to do is take our 4 door Jeep Wrangler, strip it down (put half doors on), go for a cruise, and sometimes drive it on the beach. We will either spend the day on the beach fishing or maybe have a fire at night.
We have two chihuahuas, Hugo and Luna, that are both 12 years old. We’ve had them since they were 6 months old. They are very energetic and love people. We also have a Bushy mouth Catfish which is about a foot long. We have had him for about 8 years.
We love the holidays. Chelsea always decorates our house for each holiday, especially Halloween and Christmas. Our house turns into a winter wonderland at Christmas and a Halloween town at Halloween. For Christmas each year, we go to Hallmark to get our annual Keepsake Ornaments.
We both were raised as Catholics. We want our child to be active in the church and have the same positive childhood experiences of belonging to a faith community as we had.
Our Hobbies
We have both winter and summer hobbies. During summer we enjoy outdoor activities that include swimming, camping, and hiking. We are animal lovers. We like watching the birds and squirrels that come to eat the seeds and peanuts we leave for them in our feeders near our Oak tree.
In the winter we like to do more crafts activities. Chelsea enjoys crafts, cooking, baking, and putting together Disney puzzles. Anthony enjoys physical fitness in our home gym, building models, and drawing. We both love to watch movies. Anthony enjoys 1980s science fiction movies like ‘Back To The Future’ and ‘Indiana Jones’ – his favorite movie is ‘Ghostbusters’. Chelsea enjoys watching Japanese animation movies by Studio Ghibli and trying to learn to speak Korean by watching Korean dramas on NETFLIX.
We are excited to include your child in these joyful activities.
Our Home Sweet Home
Our home was specifically chosen by us to grow our future family in the suburbs. Our town has good schools and plenty of parks including a public water park to enjoy. If we want more excitement, we are not far from an amusement park. Our back yard is almost an acre with a large patio and swimming pool. That is where we spend most of our time during the year. Inside the house we have a large playroom for family activities. There is also an arts and crafts room for hobbies.
Anthony’s parents live in a shore town nearby with a lively boardwalk. They have a house on the water with a boat. We like to go there to be with family and enjoy the bay. Each season we like to dock anchor and watch the town’s 4th of July fireworks celebration.
Our Family
We are blessed to have both of our families get along so well. Both sets of parents live within 40 minutes of us. Both of our parents love to get together for holidays and parties. It’s always a good time with many laughs and great memories. Anthony also has several members of his extended family that are adopted as well.
Chelsea’s parents are super active in their grandchildren’s lives and are looking forward to another addition to our family. Chelsea’s parents are very laid back and love doing many indoor and outdoor activities with their grandchildren.
Anthony’s parents are excited to welcome their first grandchild into their lives. They are looking forward to showing them all the enjoyments children have when visiting the Jersey Shore.
We like to get together with our close friends over a meal or maybe a trip somewhere for the day out.
Our Message to you
What excites us about becoming parents is the prospect of molding our child into a caring person. We look forward to guiding our child through adolescence with advice we have gained through our life experience. For us, the exciting part of parenting will be the adventure of figuring it out together as a family.
We plan on teaching our child the importance of self-respect and respect for others. We want him/her to learn to treat people the way they want to be treated, and hopefully the rest will fall into place.
We hope to let our child experience as much as possible to find what their individual passions and interests are. Sports, art, music – whatever their interests develop into, we will nurture it and guide them as much as possible.
We promise to make sure that our child is well cared for and given a loving home.

We understand that this is a difficult decision for an expecting parent. We want you to know that we will love your child unconditionally. We will give him or her a loving home and make sure they are provided with everything they need to grow into adulthood. We hope to fill their life with wonderful experiences and guidance that will shape them into a strong, smart, and caring person.
Annual photos and visitation are options. We are open-minded about having an open adoption if it is respectful and comfortable for everyone involved.
