Introduction:
Hi! We are Luke and Julia. We have always wanted to be parents and are thrilled to bring a child into our home through adoption!
We have longed to be able to grow a family and provide a loving home, be positive role models, and make an impact on our child’s life. Our goal is to provide our child with an incredible life filled with beautiful memories, laughter, adventure, support, encouragement and love.

About Us:
We met over 11 years ago at a local restaurant and knew almost immediately that we wanted to spend the rest of our lives together. Almost two years later, we married! We are the best of friends and have so many similar interests and hobbies. Initially we connected over our passion for cars and the outdoors, but it didn't take long to realize that our priorities aligned; and that for us, family will always come first.
Our relationship is built on love, laughter, and mutual respect.
We plan to be very involved in our child’s life and encourage him/her to explore their interests and empower them to be their best self.
ABOUT LUKE FROM JULIA
Luke grew up on a farm and till this day loves all things outdoors. His passions include quadding, kayaking, hanging around a fire, or in the garage working on a car. Luke more than anything enjoys being around family, and truly cares for all the children in our life.
I cannot wait to see him as a father.
Luke works in construction project management. He is meticulous about his work and never hesitates to lend a hand to family and friends.
ABOUT JULIA FROM LUKE:
Julia has such a nurturing and kind spirit; she always has a smile on her face and is known amongst our family and friends as the most positive person in their lives. Julia enjoys spending time with the people she loves, being outdoors and adventurous, but also enjoys slowing down to garden, paint, or get creative in the kitchen with her great cooking skills! She loves to bring everyone together and is always planning the next fun family event. Julia is often looked at as a mother-figure by all our nieces and nephews, she is also a trusted babysitter by all our family and friends. I know Julia will be a wonderful mother to our child.
Julia's career is in cancer research and hopes to help find a cure one day!
Family Life
Early on in our relationship while dating, we both initially had such busy work schedules; but we vowed to have at least one meal together a day. To this day, this promise has provided us an opportunity to just sit, chat and connect with one another. We continue to prioritize one another and our relationship daily and enjoy the same activities we did when we dated—a slow Sunday with breakfast on the deck or venturing out to explore our community.
On any given day you can find Luke in the garage working on any one of his car projects, while Julia is either whipping up something delicious in the kitchen or planning our next family event. We have been determined to create a space full of love, laughter, and joy, and proud that our home has become the gathering place for both our families and friends. But, when friends and family aren't visiting, we love to visit local farms, kayak on a quiet lake, or venture through the woods. You can find us at a racetrack with friends or even attending various sporting events. We believe in a good balance of adventure and a slow-paced life.
Over time, we rescued two dogs, Nikki and Peanut, who we love dearly and enjoy exploring with. Nikki and Peanut enjoy running around outside, playing with their toys and basking in the sun either in our back window or on our deck.
Throughout the years we have traveled to many places together. We both enjoy exploring new cultures and places. We plan to continue traveling as a family throughout all the years to come.
We cannot wait to show our child all the beauty this world has to offer!
Our Friends and Family
The community surrounding us is a beautiful blend of people from all backgrounds and walks of life—all who constantly show us love and support. We know that our large network of family and friends will help ensure this child’s happiness, sense of belonging, and secure future.
Our family and friends are so excited to welcome another member to the group through adoption.
Our Home and Community
We live in a three-bedroom home with a beautiful front porch, and a two-story rear deck which connects to our above ground pool and leads to a garden and firepit area, located on several acres. We have worked together on remodeling it; inside and out, caring for and bringing back to life this once forgotten home. Our home has become the gathering place for both families and all friends alike, which brings us so much joy. We cannot wait to share this home with our child.
We live in a rural town full of farmlands, mountaintops, hiking trails, rivers, lakes and year-round beauty. The community is very tight-knit and family oriented, providing plenty of activities for kids of all ages.
Julia’s side of our family all live in the same town as us, with her sister and niece just down the road, parents and grandparents under 10 mins away. Luke’s side are all located between 30 minutes to an hour away, with plans to move closer in the near future!
