We are so excited to be adopting and can't wait to bring a child into our family and share our lives with them! We hope this information will help you in making your choice and whatever you decide we sincerely wish you and your child all the best. We love spending time with our immediate and extended families, friends, and the kids in our lives and can’t wait to raise our child. We have a ton of love to give and know we will make great parents.
About Us
We met living just a couple blocks apart in Jersey City, New Jersey, while finishing up school. We started dating, fell in love, and married a few years later in 2015. Since then, we've continued to build our lives and home together, enjoy our family, develop professionally and personally, and welcome pets into our lives. We now live in central New Jersey, close to the beach but not too far from the city
Matty has loved music and performing arts for as long as he can remember. He trained hard and ultimately achieved his dream of performing on Broadway! After fulfilling his artistic goals, he went back to school and became a registered nurse, where he works bedside to care for critically ill patients. Matty has two siblings: a brother and sister, both married. His brother has two girls who are smart, kind and charming. Spending time with them is the absolute best. Matty was raised by his amazing mother who now works in real estate. She married when Matty and his siblings were all in college and Matty’s stepfather is an excellent grandpa who teaches algebra to college students. For fun Matty loves spending time with Jeff and going to the beach. Getting together with family and friends for dinner is also one of his favorite things to do. Matty still enjoys performing and spends some free time as a director and choreographer for school and local productions—he can't wait to share his love of performing arts with our child.
Jeff has loved reading since learning as a little kid. He truly enjoys his job, where he is involved in development of medicines that reach millions of patients. Jeff has a little brother, just 13 months younger, who is now married and with three young children -- hanging out with them is awesome! Jeff’s mom's a nurse and his dad recently retired from the Coast Guard – they are still together after 35 years of marriage and live nearby. For fun, Jeff enjoys spending time with Matty and the rest of our family, traveling, taking our little sailboat out on the bay, and enjoying the family beach house. Jeff also loves to cook, garden, and take on house projects and looks forward to sharing these simple joys with a son or daughter!
Family Life:
Family is so important to us! Whether a day trip to the city, annual beach vacations, or just a drop-in or shared meal, there's nothing like spending time with family, who we see as often as possible. We have five nieces and nephews under 10 years old -- watching and helping them grow up means so much to us. We can't wait to introduce our child to his or her extended family -- grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins are all so excited to welcome a new baby into the family. We have so many holidays and traditions to pass on, so many adventures to explore, and so many milestones to share!
Our Home and Community:
We live in a five-bedroom house in central New Jersey, close to the ocean. We have plenty of space, including a large fenced-in back yard and a playroom. Our town has a great sense of community, beautiful parks, an excellent education system, and nearby family and friends. We know a child would love to live here and explore all there is to do as they learn and grow.
Our Message to You

We will nurture and help them develop into a person who is thoughtful, caring, intelligent, and able to succeed. We will provide unconditional love, support, a safe and stable home life, and an excellent education. We will work to instill our values, while empowering them to think for themselves and make their own good decisions in life.
