Introduction:
Hi! We are Courtney, Robert, and Mia.
Thank you so much for taking the time to consider us for your birth plan. As experienced adopting parents, we are very excited and ready to welcome a second child into our home. We are grateful that you love your baby so much that you are taking these steps to ensure he or she has a wonderful and full life ahead.
If you decide to make an adoption plan with us, we will not take this choice lightly. We will love your baby with our whole heart and provide a safe, caring, supportive, happy life with many wonderful opportunities.
About Us:
We are college sweethearts, together for over 20 years, and have a very strong foundation to welcome a second child into our family. We have a strong marriage and family values.
A short while ago, we adopted our daughter Mia. She is a loving little girl who gets along so well with her cousins and friends. We know she will be excited to have a little brother or sister, give them hugs, kisses, and all the love she already gives so freely. She is such a blessing to us, and we know she’ll be a wonderful big sister too!
We both love being parents, not to mention being aunt, uncle, and Godparents. With Mia, we really appreciate and cherish our time together as a family. It's the small and silly times, the giggle fests, and moments that come at the most random times that really make our day.
When not parenting, Courtney likes to garden, exercise, read books and magazines, and curl up on the couch for home renovation shows, Animal Planet, or our latest Netflix series. Rob enjoys meeting up with friends to hang out or have dinner. He also enjoys going for long runs, lifting weights, reading, and watching movies.
Our Family and friends:
We have an amazing support system in place consisting of large extended families and friends that love us. We help each other with whatever anyone needs, be it clothes, advice, a babysitter, a helping hand, or just someone to chat with. We are fortunate in that we both work remotely from home, Courtney working part time. This allows us to spend as much time as we can together as a family.
Both sets of grandparents are retired and look forward to weekly babysitting, spending time with us, and helping with Mia. Rob has a sister who is married with 2 younger children. Courtney has a brother who is married with a 1-year-old.
We also have friends with kids of all ages who are all caring, love to play, and would be very excited and welcoming of another child into the family.
Our Home:
We love our 4 bedroom, 2 bath home. We live in a quiet suburban neighborhood with many families with children and great neighbors. We have set up our outdoor patio to hang out, listen to music, eat, toast marshmallows, and relax. We also live near a children's park which Mia loves. We go to the park or for a walk every day the weather allows.
We have two, very friendly domestic cats named Dash and Daisy—9 and 12 years old. Daisy has become Mia’s new best friend.
